Swingstar plays acoustic jazz inspired by Django Reinhardt, the great guitarist who created the style of music known worldwide as Gypsy Jazz. Brazilian Bossa Nova tunes often find their way into the performance and some more pop influenced songs played in the Gypsy Jazz style.
